 Which is the best night cream for my skin type? How do I select a good night cream to my skin type?  

These are some of the questions I get asked most of the time since recent, I personally don’t use a night cream every day, to be honest I use the aloe gel, and a retinol cream once in a while, its so important to listen to your skin and give it what its need, so since I’m not the expert in this area I channeled Google and did some research with a few skin therapists.

Night creams are thick, additional emollient moisturizing method meant to hydrate skin throughout the night.

How To Choose Night Cream According To Age:

In your 20s – Cream that involves honey and aloe vera.

In your 30s – Involves lively ingredients similar to amino acids, retinol, ceramides, plus other antioxidants are suggested.

In your 40s – spend in creams which involve peptides, soy extract plus vitamins.

In your 50s and 60s – Involve extra moisturising ingredients to keep skin healthy.

Night Cream For Different Skin Type:

Every skin type has its personal needs, plus choosing products intended for that specific skin type is the key in selecting creams and basically all skincare products. So we have broken it down for you.

For Sensitive Skin:

Select a night cream that encloses lightweight formula. Avoid heavy, perfume-based creams that might cause rashes. Neem, tea tree, aloe vera, cucumber, creams are your best bet. Also, utilize herbal creams which involve chamomile. These exclusive elements don`t irritate skin plus they are packed with calming properties.

For Oily Skin:

If you have oily skin, choose for a cream which will not activate acne and clog your pores. Oil-free creams are your best friend.  Stay away from products containing unfractionated coconut oil, cocoa butter, Sesame oil, Shea butter. Some oils that are great for oily skin include grape seed, rosehip, evening primrose, hemp, and pumpkin seed oil.

For Dry Skin:

A night cream which involves almond oil, avocado, plus shea butter is best for your skin type. This material covers skin by a film interfering liquid evaporation. If you have dry skin, you must pick for a cream which involves utmost moisture. Glycerine-based creams are perfect.

Tips For Choosing Night Cream For Skin Types:

  • It is vital to select a night cream that suits our skin type. Don’t buy something because it worked on someone else it may not suit your skin type.
  • Stay away from the broad formula as it might damage your skin instead of repairing it.
  • If the cream is moreover thick otherwise too oily it might clog your pores, parting your skin not capable to breathe.
  • No matter your skin type or age we should look for a lightweight texture that is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, and fragrance-free.
  •  It’s always best to avoid essential oils and fragrance oils, be it natural, synthetic otherwise semi-synthetic ingredients are a big no-no.  Check for creams with a variety of vitamins, amino acids, collagen, peptides that have an anti-aging effect.
